Stewardship Officer (CC6347)

Do you want to make a difference, and help students and researchers fulfil their ambitions by cultivating excellent relationships with the donors who make this possible?

Stewardship is critical to the success of our vibrant Department of Development and Alumni Relations. We are seeking an exceptional individual to help us celebrate the difference that philanthropic support makes to our University community, and inspire our donors to keep giving as we look to what comes next.

Stewardship Officer

The successful candidate will be committed to delivering excellent service and able to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, donors and funding beneficiaries. This is a varied role, and you will have strong administrative and events organisation skills, be highly organised with an eye for detail, and confident working on your own.

An understanding of the importance of stewardship is essential, as is the ability to engage with the bigger picture and deliver stewardship activities that meet the shared goals of the University and our supporters. You will have excellent communication skills, with the capability to find innovative ways to thank our supporters and engage with the beneficiaries across a variety of channels.

Previous experience working in a charitable giving or relationship management environment is essential. The post holder will be expected to attend events that take place in evenings or on weekends, for which time off in lieu will be given.
